The Are-You-Sure Clock

Asks once, softly, then does not ring.

$119

The Are-You-Sure Clock is a bedside unit with a single verbal prompt, delivered in a soft, neutral voice at the scheduled wake time: "Are you sure?" The device then declines to do anything else.

No subsequent chime is issued. No escalating volume. No snooze. The question is posed once, and the rest is between you and the morning.

In internal testing, 72% of users reported being awakened by the question alone. The remaining 28% reported a mild deepening of sleep. Both outcomes are considered within spec.

Housed in a matte steel case. The display is grayscale. The volume is fixed.

Field Review

My husband doesn't hear it. I hear it every morning and think about it for the rest of the day.
